PROPOSED PROVISION

1.   Membership

1.1 Fellow

Qualification:

a.    At least 5 years working at a responsible position in any organization or engaged in quality management at senior position for at least 3 years.

and

Must have published at least three articles in a journal or must have been a facilitator of QCC’s for at least 3 years.

and

Must have attended a training course on TQM or have TQM as a course in graduation course.

OR

Must have been a Member of BSTQM for five years.

OR

Must be a Member of BSTQM for at least 3 years and have published at least two articles on quality in a reputed journal, and must have participated in two annual conventions of BSTQM.

1.2 Member

Qualification:

a.       At least 3 years working at a responsible position in quality management in any organization,

and

must have published at least one article on quality in a reputed journal.

and

Must have participated in a training course on TQM or had TQM as a course in his/her educational curriculum.

OR

Must have been an Associate Member of BSTQM for 3 years

and attended at least in two annual conventions organized by BSTQM. Must submit a write up of minimum 150 words about the incumbent’s interest and contribution in TQM to the satisfaction of evaluation committee.

1.3 Associate Member

Qualification:

A graduate in any recognised discipline having interest in TQM.

8.      All existing “Members” on the day of approval of this amendment will remain as a “Member” and be entitled to all privileges for the post.

9.   Only “Fellow” and “Member” will be “Corporate Members” and shall be eligible to vote.

The word “Member” wherever appears will be replaced by the words “Fellows/ Members”.

6. Fellows and Members will be eligible to write FBSTQM/ MBSTQM as applicable after their name.
